Spruce has added to our household in more or less the ways we thought/hoped he would. He’s a fun friend to our other playful cat, a mild pest to our dog, and provides affection with just the right amount of harmless naughtiness. For instance, I can’t linger getting the second load of groceries from the car without him ripping open whichever bag I left on the table in search of food. And he can climb or jump onto surfaces you wouldn’t think that even an athletic cat could reach. He greets me loudly and persistently when I get home from work, or even a short time outside. He likes frequent and brief check-ins when his people are moving around and is curious at whatever we do. My husband needed a lot of convincing and negotiation to agree to a second cat, but he’d just commented about it being nice to have Spruce on the lap. Overall everything good about him is good and everything naughty is fun. He’s what we were looking for and I appreciate your clear and specific description that helped us find a good match.
